The Light House & Community
The Light House is our newly-built community centre, which also hosts many community groups, such as the Food Stop, Welcome Lunch and the Monks Hill Youth Club.
The Light House can also be hired for events.
It seats 70 people, or 80 standing.
Subject to availability and charge the cost is £42 per hour.
Size is 9.2m x 8.4m approx. 77 sqm
We also have a small hall you can hire. It can seat 40 people or 50 standing.
There is an outside garden available. It is ideal for kids’ parties.
The charge is £18 per hour.
Size is 7m x 6m approx. 42 sqm
To make a booking please look at the calendar below. This shows when the rooms are booked out (not when they are available). Please use this as a guide as some groups have not confirmed their bookings yet so they may not show on the calendar.

Please note that your confirmed booking does not include any additional charges for the use of the Light House Kitchen. This means that the use of ovens in the Light House Kitchen for meal preparation, as well as the use of crockery and cutlery, will incur extra costs.
